Happy's Humble Burger Barn: 2021
So what exactly is new, you ask? Well, Kaleb went under the hood of the burger mobile and did some work. Changed the oil, gutted the engine....suffice to say, strange vehicular burger analogies aside, the game is optimized MUCH better than it was before. If you had trouble running the game or streaming / capturing your gameplay, it should work much, much better now.
But what about new content? Well we wouldn't dare to spoil that! I will tell you there are more canonical links to the Burger Farm lineage. But that's all I'll say! You won't get ALL the answer you're looking for, but you WILL see a bit more of a narrative thread to connect.
Hope you enjoy this final shift at Happy's Humble Burger Barn, and can't wait to bring you all Happy's Humble Burger Farm! Be sure to check out our official websiteto stay updated on Farm, and if you haven't checked out the Alpha yet....what are you waiting for?! There's two branches, a regular and a "Holiday Special" themed update. Both are worth checking out. We'd also totally appreciate you wish-listing the full game for us! Both are embedded for your convenience below. Take the promotion, friends, and make the jump to the Burger Farm after checking out this final Burger Barn update!

A tip for the devs to allow easy user optimisation.
Please add the ability to use the Unity prefs window at the startup to choose a suitable screen resolution.
The game assumes the biggest size it sees is the one to opt for, but this is not useful with screens that have bigger resolutions than the GPU can sensibly run, or on monitor/TVs that fake and scale the maximum resolution so it looks like crap.
The game could better run for a lot more people if you let them use a smaller res and/or windowed mode.
Removing the need for scaling also allows reduced CPU/GPU use if people want to capture/stream the game at the same resolution.
BONUS: If you present the default config window before the game, the users also have the ability to configure their own choice of keys or controller buttons.
For anyone else wanting to try the game right now at a lower screen size, trusty old "re-o-matic" is your friend.

Unity removed this feature long ago. Now we need to make in-game options. Ilwe won't be doing that for this title since it's old and such.
That explains why the CLI option to force it doesn't work. Thanks for explaining.
Maybe that explains why The Long Drive is so glitchy. That offers the prefs window at the start so must be using an old build.
OK looks like it is res-o-matic for the win.
can you make a version for a weak PC?
Does endless mode still work?
Hi CannoliFox,
Are you having issues running endless mode since the update?
Yes, endless mode seems to be gone. Neither F12 nor playing through the game works.
At the moment I'd suggest downloading the older version of the game, I've made both the 2020 and 2021 version of the game available. I know this is inconvenient, but upon making the update several things seemed to change. (Namely, all customers are now clothed entirely in white, and Endless Mode has gone astray.) Further updates might compromise stability further.
But I'm the sound / story guy, I could be wrong! If there's another update we'll definitely make a post. (Currently locked into Burger Farm development.)
Cheers,
Scythe Dev Team
How would one go about downloading/running the older version? Thanks in advance :)
The 1 GB file that isn't the 2021 Update is the original release that still features endless mode.
